The Royal Institute of Management (RIM), under the Royal Decree, was incepted as a premier Government Management Institute particularly in training civil service in the Country. The Institute also provides Masters, Post Graduate, Diploma and other short terms courses for public, private and corporate agencies. It aims in producing professional and ethical leaders and managers in the country through academic and managerial excellence in research and learning.

The Learning Resources and Documentation Centre (LRDC) supports above aspirations through the provisions of sharing information resources and infrastructure at the Institute. Therefore, the Rules and Regulations is developed to systematically and ethically guide faculty, staff, students and other users for better learning and pursuit of knowledge by maximum use of facilities at the Institute.
